Random Midday Hotness: Karen Cheng Getting It In.

What’s the old saw? Dance like no one is watching.

Karen Cheng went all the way in the other direction with it: dance like everybody finna see you.

Over the course of a year, Cheng taught herself how to dance (and became your new ideal to aspire to).

Here’s my secret: I practiced everywhere. At bus stops. In line at the grocery store. At work — Using the mouse with my right hand and practicing drills with my left hand. You don’t have to train hardcore for years to become a dancer. But you must be willing to practice and you better be hungry.

Say word.

This is awesome. And, I listen to Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E.” every other day, as I strut down Midtown sidewalks, so she immediately won me over.lol

The best part of this is watching her face change from the beginning to the end. She goes from counting it out to feeling it.

Right? Its not that she’s getting better, it’s that she’s letting go.
