'Negronormativity.'

via our homie black scientist:

Negronormative
(nē’grō nôr’mə-tĭv)adj.
Of, or relating to the view that blackness is a Christian, male, patriarchal, heterosexual entity. Often marginalizes expressions of black identity that do not fit into this mold by perpetuating it as natural and standard. Most commonly used to refer to an individual’s beliefs or actions: The negronormative agenda of the black nationalist movement misrepresented black people in the U.S. as being one homogenous group. Also tied to false conceptions of black authenticity. See USAGE at “acting black”.

    …don’t be so negronormative G.D. …

…the negronormativity of the situation struck her immediately…

  • What about a spin off–nigganormativity? Anybody wish to define?

  • Sorry, I don’t know why I just posted that. The humor intended obviously needs some context. Please disregard it.
