My introduction to George Carlin was as the minuscule conductor on “Shining Time Station.” That was a kids show on PBS and a far cry from the more ‘colorful’ comedy he traded in. I thought he was just kinda funny when I got older, but I’ll always have fond memories of him from when I was little.
