Talking About Race on Twitter.

So.

Kirstie Alley makes a stupid racial comment on Twitter.

After some deliberation, Harry Allen of Media Assassin thoughtfully responds.

She then calls him an attention whore that needs to lighten up without ever addressing the substance of his comments. (So original, right?)

Allen’s subsequent response proves that he’s in possession of Job-like patience.

  • i certainly admire his patience, and respect. he could easily have insulted her, and most people would not think it was unfounded, but he didn’t. he called her out on her comment, and did so respectfully, even though her response was less than respectful to him…

harry great job with the response. unfortunately her response just reflects her discomfort with the issue. she isn’t known for being the most graceful/gracious person. definitely an all around awkward moment can’t say i would have handled it as well.

    (oh and yay koku!)
