Go Away, Dude.

Your boy Joe the Plumber:

I’ll be honest with you. I don’t think journalists should be anywhere allowed war. I mean, you guys report where our troops are at. You report what’s happening day to day. You make a big deal out of it. I think it’s asinine. You know, I liked back in World War I and World War II when you’d go to the theater and you’d see your troops on, you know, the screen and everyone would be real excited and happy for’em. Now everyone’s got an opinion and wants to downer–and down soldiers. You know, American soldiers or Israeli soldiers.

I think media should be abolished from, uh, you know, reporting. You know, war is hell. And if you’re gonna sit there and say, “Well look at this atrocity,” well you don’t know the whole story behind it half the time, so I think the media should have no business in it.

  • So much wrong with this. But I think my favorite bit is where 36-year-old Wurzelbacher reminisces about going to the picture show during World War I.

  • John McCain is just wrong for giving us Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin to deal with.

    What.Thee.Fuck?

  • ladyfresshh

    fantastic!

    keep talking Joe

    just keep talking

  • Grump

Joe The Plummer is an immortal…born to the kings….he is a prince of the universe…much like Connor & Duncan MacLeod!!!!! This is the only reason that I can come up with as far as him being able to reminisce about watching picture shows during the two World Wars.

  • Molly

He is below the enlistment age limit–why isn’t he enlisted in the army? If he is so pro-soldier, why isn’t he one?

  • ladyfresshh

    hes been plumbing Molly
that also is a service to our country…
or…those darn media…just chases off those darn soldiers

“And if you’re gonna sit there and say, ‘Well look at this atrocity,’ well you don’t know the whole story behind it half the time, so I think the media should have no business in it.”

-Can someone explain to me how this one sentence doesn’t completely contradict itself? Oh wait, you can’t. What a nutfuck.

  • Does anyone understand what this guy is talking about? Does he?

Has Mr. Wurzelbacher served in the armed forces?

He doesn’t even have the sense to realize that it’s the media’s business to inform us of the whole story all the time. The Press isn’t perfect, but who else is there to keep us informed as to what the government is up to, whether it is at war, tapping its citizens’ phones, or cutting Social Security checks for your mother or paying your for dad’s bypass through Medicaid.

Please, let’s all just stop paying attention to this ignoramus. He’s not even a licensed plumber — oh wait, in order to get licensed you’d have to join the pipe-fitters’ union. Maybe if he joined the union, they’d knock some sense into this dullard’s fat head.

    What a dumbass.

  • The guy behind him looks absolutely appalled.
