Hillary Clinton finally gave a real, go-for-broke speech. Maybe it’s just because there was nothing to lose. The New York Times transcript added in the applause but apparently edited out all of the boos, which seems a particularly weird thing to do because the boos here are what’s relevant. If she had just let an ounce or two of that eloquence invade her political pandering during the campaign, she may have had a shot. At least she goes out with some style.
