One wonders about the pitch at the agency:

Junior Executive: “I know. For our gazillion dollar Super Bowl ad we’ll have pandas doing a caricature of, um, Chiaporean salespeople. It’ll be teh awesome.”

Senior Partner: “That genius. Playing on people’s fear of the yellow peril always drums up business. But, while you’re at it, can you do anything that will make Mark Steyn’s blood boil? How about something with a Pakistani named Ramesh who has lots of kids. Oh, the demographic threat alone should bring in customers.”

Junior Executive: “Squee! What a great idea, sir. I’m on it.”

I could go on and on. I think I missed my true calling.

I wish I could take comfort in the fact that someone might lose their employment over that hot ass mess. But they probably won’t.
