Johannes Mehserle, the officer who shot Oscar Grant, was arrested last night in Nevada.
On New Year’s Day, 22-year-old Oscar Grant was shot in the back by Bay Area Rapid Transit Police. He was unarmed and apparently restrained and handcuffed at the time of the shooting.
