“Funny story: I live & vote in a pretty “regular” black neighborhood. In getting out to vote this morning, most everybody is dressed to the stereotypical nines: rollers in hair, sweats, tights, hoodies, etc. For me, since I managed to score a ticket to the high muckety-muck election watch party tonight, I got up early and got dressed *all* the way up. No fewer than four of the older ladies in line with me, noticing the contrast, gently pulled me to the side and asked, “You ARE voting for Obama, aren’t you?” LOL
