    infidelity is related to power not gender…interesting. Then, I wonder why powerful women in the political realm seem to miss the infidelity bullet scandal after scandal. Less sloppy you suppose? Or is the concept of gender- the socially fabricated kind– here in the US so different from wherever the country where this study was taken?

    • it probably has more to do with the very different consequences women in power face. they may be powerful, but they’re still women, and they’re probably still likely to be punished for being sexual beings in ways that powerful men aren’t.
