I walk past the “Ground Zero Mosque” site to get to work everyday. It’s an old abandoned Burlington Coat Factory. The funny thing about is I’ve always thought to myself “If I had the money, I’d try to turn thst building into a Dream/Love type spot for NYC.” It looks really big, although I hear they plan to replace that building with a state-of-the-art cultural center. I’m all for it.

  • I’m happy y’all bringing the podcast back.

  • Good stuff on the Cordoba project. This a really big fucking deal. We are talking about the 1st Amendment. Even if the Cordoba project were the absolute embodiment of everything the unhinged Right is railing against it would still have to go forward with all the federal protections our Constitution affords all religions.

What I’m perplexed and frankly disappointed (and occasionally infuriated and disgusted) by is the Left’s non-response to all this Constitutional insanity. How’s my math? The Right’s current Constitutional position is that the 2nd Amendment is sacrosanct but the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th are all up for bending, breaking, and random political interpretation. The Left should be spitting hellfire over this attack on our Constitution; they should be going to the mattresses. Instead I get the sense that the Left is just praying to get out of the midterms alive and if that’s the case, they’ve already lost. It’s really very sad. I cannot imagine a more glorious opportunity to lead than this.

How come #7 and #8 aren’t on iTunes?
