Frankly, it might help us all if we started to think of Sarah Palin as a washed-up West Coast rap artist.
She likes to shoot things. She fetishizes aggressive canines. She hates the East Coast. And she desperately wants to start up a beef with an older, more-established rival that would spark her flagging political ambitions.
Gangsta, right?
But even The Game wouldn’t argue against a reduction of our nation’s nuclear arsenal (I don’t think).
So, basically, we have a problem: Palin needs to give peace a chance.
And we, the good bloggers of PostBourgie, have the soundtrack for the truce.
Sorry, Michel’le and R Kelly are involved:
1. We’re All in The Same Gang by West Coast All-Stars (R.A.B.)
2. Something’s Got to Give by Beastie Boys (Jamelle)
3. World Wide Suicide by Pearl Jam (Quadmoniker)
4. Heal The World by Michael Jackson (Brokey)
5. Get Together by The Youngbloods (slb)
6. When Doves Cry by Prince (R.A.B.)

9. Lean on Me by Kirk Franklin (Brokey)
10. Self-Destruction by the Stop The Violence Movement (Blackink)
Slow your roll, Sarah. Try some Sam Cooke.
And if y’all have any other suggestions, we’re wide open. You see we even went with R.A.B.’s odd suggestion of “When Doves Cry” – we’ll let him explain that one.
Enjoy the weekend.
