The Grape Drink Mafia.

A few years back, a cadre of liberal Jewish political bloggers like Ezra Klein, Spencer Ackerman, and Dana Goldstein began making online waves, and a lot of their critics took to calling them “the Juice Box Mafia” on account of their being so freakishly young.

The PB fam is hardly as influential, but our horde of rabble-rousing whippersnappers is rapidly expanding. (And really, what the fuck is juice?)

We stand with you in total solidarity.

  • much appreciated, fam.

  • Yo I’m in the mafia!!!! :)

Love it! I probably need to get familiar with grape drink asap – does my love for Kool-Aid purplesaurus rex as a kid count?

Grape soda was my personal favorite during free periods in high school. And people are aghast that diet coke was a staple drink for me growing up.

i missed all this twitter list stuff while away on vacay
but i’ll begin with this list

  • ladyfresh

ok i’m really new to the list thing i have no idea how to join.
if someone would be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

  • Ok, lists are a way to group people into categories, and you don’t necessarily have to follow them to “list” them.

You create a list by going to your home page and clicking the (very small) “New List” link that’s right above “Trending Topics.” You can set your list up to be public so everyone can see it, or private so only you can see it. Once you create a list you add people to it by typing their name into the field, and checking the box (I’ve had some problems with the box actually “checking” so make sure you see the check or the person isn’t added to your list.) You do not have to follow someone to add them to a list.

To remove someone from a list, go to their profile page and click the “manage lists” button (if you this is someone you don’t follow, the “manage lists” button will simply be a down arrow right next to the “follow” button), then uncheck the list you wish to remove them from.

Now when it comes to other lists, you can follow someone else’s list by going to their profile, clicking on one of their lists, and clicking the “follow this list” button at the top left hand side, right beneath the banner.

Some people don’t really see the use of lists, but I like them to see tweets from people I don’t necessarily want to follow on a “regular” day. For example, I have a “Go IN On Awards” list for people who I think have the funniest tweets during award shows, but I don’t want to follow them after the show is over.

  • *sigh* you’re such a stwalker.lol. 😛

  • ladyfresh

    ahh ok
i don’t see any of it
    but thanks
