  • I thought the repub’s whole beef was that if you make too much money or increase your income, that you are punished with taxes. The Obamas got a refund. And even though they paid over $800K in taxes (Ouch!) it’s still not the bulk of the over $2mil they earned. I dunno, though. Now that I think about it, $800K is a lot of money. It’s hard to see it in perspective since I can barely fathom how much money either of those sums are, so I don’t know how much that $800K hurt.
