    Haha, I saw this on C+D this morning! Light bread is a southern term for a loaf of bread, “loaf bread”. It’s light and yeasty versus cornbread which is more dense. Finally, my Bama roots come in handy for something…

    Growing up (from 12 on) in southern Mississippi, I only heard light bread referring specifically to white bread and only from older, more country folks.
