Reading Group Reminder.

Just a reminder for everyone interested in discussing Oscar Wao with us: we added a tab to the top of the page for the reading group, so that the posts on the book don’t fall and nobody accidentally stumbles upon spoilers.

The comments will open on Feb. 15, and we’re going to alternate between fiction and non-fiction each month.

I saw junot diaz do a reading of this, and man, that guy is amazing. good choice, great book.

  • Great choice, this book is fascinating! Brush up on your Spanish if you’re as clueless as me though. And don’t worry Shani-O, I got through it in a weekend.

  • Can’t wait to start. I’m re-reading it now so it’ll be fresh.

I don’t think I’ll make it by Feb 15th… but “Drown” was one of the books I used for my thesis way back when…its great that he has achieved success though.

  • Dammit. My roommate lost my copy. Read it last June, but would gladly re-read it.
