*terrified glance at calendar*
I opened it today, but the doctor called me before I got past the poem at the beginning.
I saw junot diaz do a reading of this, and man, that guy is amazing. good choice, great book.
Great choice, this book is fascinating! Brush up on your Spanish if you’re as clueless as me though. And don’t worry Shani-O, I got through it in a weekend.
Can’t wait to start. I’m re-reading it now so it’ll be fresh.

…a little long, but funny
Ahem, someone needs to finish reading my copy so I can brush up. A-Hem.
i got you, chief.
I don’t think I’ll make it by Feb 15th… but “Drown” was one of the books I used for my thesis way back when…its great that he has achieved success though.
Dammit. My roommate lost my copy. Read it last June, but would gladly re-read it.
i’m ready!
I read a chunk last summer then got distracted.
I’ll try and finish the Watchmen this week and then pick this back up again in time to discuss.
i played the audio book in my car doing my drive times and I really enjoyed this. Well written, funny, thought provoking and heart breaking. A must read!!
