everytime i hear about double dutch competitions
i immediately remember the ep of sesame street i saw as a kid
where they covered a double dutch comp
and half the competitors were white kids…from canada.

I kinda love his mom. She’s like “I was all, nooo, that’s for girls…” but you can totally tell she came around and that she’s 100% behind her kid.

I remember watching double dutch in elementary school and the black girls teasing me to get me to try it. I probably did. Once.

Well even stepping is very “female” in high school… I remember the one boy on our high school step team had to quit because his dad wouldnt allow it he said that was “for fags” :-(.
