My guess is that the top contenders for best hip-hop album of 2008 are Kanye West and Q-Tip. I’m inclined to say that Q-Tip’s album is the superior effort, but – then again – I’m a Native Tongues fanboy.

I haven’t hear d either album, but I don’t doubt they’re both good based of the respective singles. This Q-Tip joint makes me feel good though. Kanye’s goin through some things right now, so his not so much.
